No… it’s not about the starting QB yet.
1. The Week 1 Blogpoll is out for your perusing.
2. If you’d like to read ScalpEm.com or post comments from your mobile phone, you no longer need an HTML browser to do so. The all new redesigned ScalpEm.mobi (it auto detects your phone, so if you go on your PC it will just load ScalpEm.com) has been launched. Let me know if it’s working, and if there are any bugs, etc. that I might be able to fix.
Hey everyone, I upgraded the backend of things… let me know if any of the updates have caused problems with the site. Everything seems okay to me.
Thanks!
Readers, I want to know how much you use the ScalpEm.com Photo Album… if you like it, etc, and if it would matter if I cut back the length of the archive to the previous season only. Leave some comments!
Enjoy the long weekend everyone!
Hi everyone,
If you happened to use the ScalpEm.info site at all, I have bad news for you. I’ve closed it! It was more of a hassle than it was worth to me, and quite frankly didn’t have a lot of traffic of its own. The address redirects to here from now on, and if you did happen to like the old .info site, I suggest you sign up for Google Reader and add the feeds .info used to your RSS reader.
Happy surfing… and sorry if there is any inconvenience.
I never thought this little site would attract so many visitors in one month when I started it. But, April 2008 (thanks in part to a bump from the Preston Parker story, and lots of fresh photo albums) was the best month yet for this little website. Nearly 63,000 visits, 200,000 page views and 600,000 “hits” later, you guys have kicked serious butt.
So that means I’m rich, right? No, but I am happy to be reaching Seminole fans (and others). Obviously something is still lacking at the big sites, so I’ll keep plugging away until I’m not needed anymore. So THANK YOU very much, Noles and rivals alike. If you have any suggestions for the site, by all means leave me a comment about it or email me!
Over the next couple of weeks I’ll be linking all player names to their Seminoles.com profile. This will be done automatically, and it’s so you guys don’t have to be searching around if you’d like to know more about a player.
A HUGE thanks to Matthew Cerrone over at Metsblog.com. He pointed me to the plugin that I needed for this new feature.
Update: I’m testing out the softball team first… so try clicking Tiffany McDonald, Brittany Osmon or Allison Collins for example.
Update #2: The baseball and softball teams are done… try clicking Mike Martin, Jack Rye or Stuart Tapley for example.
In an effort to completely sell out to the cold hard dollar, ScalpEm.com has been sold to a soon-to-be-named ticket vendor for an undisclosed amount. I’d like thank all of you that have tuned in for the last 4 years, and if you know anything about this site then you know that this is 2008’s…
LAME APRIL FOOLS’ JOKE.
::pats self on back::
4 Years and counting!
More importantly, do I care? Just kidding… vote now, start the discussion and please understand that the name isn’t changing.
