I’ll be honest. I’ve hit that wall that I hit every year. I’ve hit the wall to the point that I don’t have very many coherent thoughts regarding anything FSU. I’ve also hit the wall with photography at the games. It’s really, really nice to just go and watch the game instead of watching it [...]

In no particular order:

I’m still sick of it – I was sick of hearing about FSU vs. the NCAA months ago. I’m still sick of hearing about it. Florida State has egg on their face. Can we move on now?
Money well spent? – We couldn’t have put the legal fees defending this stupidity to a [...]

Okay, right off the bat, I’ll admit this post is a month overdue, but hey at least it’s going up.
What follows is my personal (and some off-the-wall*) predictions about FSU sports, mostly football. 2010 has already proven to be an unprecedented year in FSU football history. Who would’ve guessed the retiring of our legendary coach [...]

From the Alumni Association email:

FLORIDA STATE RESPONDS TO NCAA SANCTIONS
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Florida State University officials said today that they are pleased that the National Collegiate Athletic Association’s Committee on Infractions accepted the findings of its investigative committee and acknowledged that nearly all of the penalties self-imposed by the university were appropriate.

FSU Thoughts:

The baseball team will get better as the year goes on.

Number 1.
Not Duke, North Carolina, Wake Forest, Maryland, etc, etc.
Florida State.
As of February 22, Florida State basketball teams have a combined in-conference record of 19-5 (11-1 for the ladies, 8-4 [...]

It’s opening day in Tallahassee, in case you weren’t paying attention. First pitch is at 4pm today! They take on the Hofstra Pride at Dick Howser Stadium.
Also, FSU Softball is in action starting Saturday, after a mid-week 6-1 domination of South Alabama. They take on East Carolina at approximately 2:30pm tomorrow and Indiana at 7pm. [...]

Coach Sue has been and is doing a hell of a job, fwiw.
Seminoles come from behind to beat #3 Aggies 60-53.

The FSU Baseball Team managed a sweep against the Virginia Tech Hokies this weekend. The Noles had plenty of offense, but so did the Hokies, which made for some high scoring affairs.
The Softball Team picked up two big wins out on the west coast. The Noles beat #1 Arizona State and Cal State Fullerton over [...]

FSU Women’s Basketball Coach has received a contract extension through the 2011-12 season. Her base salary is $195,000 with total guaranteed compensation to be roughly $300,000 per year.
It’s money well spent for the Seminoles!
