ScalpEm.com was created on April 1, 2004.
Originally intended to be only a message board, ScalpEm.com quickly grew into a full-fledged content-based website, with articles and photos. Its second version debuted in June of 2005, marking the switch from PHPBB to a true CMS, PostNuke. Achieving over 2 million hits in two years and averaging 45,000 pageviews per month, ScalpEm exceeded the expectations of most people. It has even ruffled a few feathers of other website owners along the way, all in an attempt to make FSU coverage better.

The third incarnation of ScalpEm.com was dedicated to having free photo galleries available to everyone, and to continuing the tradition of sharing opinions through the ScalpEm.com blog. Yes, the message board is gone, but a new commentting system is available, and should keep participants on topic. The Photo Album is free, and has a rating system to rate the best photographs.
The newest version, number 4, launched November 7, 2007 as a site freshening. ScalpEm.com is still powered by Wordpress, but now features an easier-to-read 3 column format. More information up front, and less scrolling, and that’s a good thing for our users. We’ve also added an easy to use menu bar at the top of the blog, just under the logo. Maybe everyone can find the photo gallery now? :) We’re averaging 100,000 pageviews each month, and over 1500 unique visitors each day. Our Alexa ranking has sky-rocketed, and more and more fans are participating in the comments. The future looks bright, and this redesign should make it simpler for even more fans to enjoy our offbeat coverage of FSU.
