Thoughts On 2011 National Signing Day

Posted by

I’ll keep this post brief, since I fully admit that I don’t follow recruiting or National Signing Day at anything more than a 50,000 ft level. With that said, I had a conversation with a buddy last night and he said exactly what I feel.

“I don’t follow it much, but a #1 class means kids want to come to FSU. That’s a really good thing.”

I think that sums it up for me. I’m not into the star ratings of 17 year olds. I don’t follow the kids through YouTube clips. The first I will see of them is on the field in the spring most likely. No matter though, the main point is that kids want to come to FSU. Quality kids. Kids that didn’t waiver on signing day. Kids that seems to have both character and talent. Kids that WANT to be Seminoles.

That’s a fantastic feeling for a fan. The future is bright and the bandwagon is about to get very, very heavy again.

    Young men of CHARACTER!
Congrats to Coach Fisher, his staff and the young men of character who are already playing for FSU!
    Tomorrow looks very bright!
