Last week’s ballot

1-5 – Yet again, the Top 3 rotate depending on who I enjoyed watching the most, who had more cheerleader shots during the game and who generally had the drunkest looking fans. Alabama takes the Top spot this week. In all seriousness though, my Top 3 feels like this to me every week… (Bama OR Florida) AND Texas. Hopefully the season works out like that. Boise State / TCU is a tough call. I really wish we could get a bowl game with Boise State and TCU if they both win out, too bad the system sucks.

6-15 – Cincy is lucky to be undefeated after Friday nights lackluster performance against West Virginia. So they are the bottom of the undefeated teams, but they remain ahead of 1 loss Georgia Tech. The Jackets have a glass ceiling thanks to the most undefeated teams this late in a season since 1979. Pitt comes in at #8, because holy cow they didn’t shoot themselves in the foot and lose to ND. LSU, Ohio State (Ugh, I hate having Buckeyes in my Top 10) round out the Top 10. Penn State, Oregon, Wisconsin, Oklahoma State and Clemson all rocket up my poll thanks to the epic fails of Miami, Southern Cal and Houston.

The rest – Standford debuts at 17 after 2 straight wins against Top 10 teams. I probably punished Iowa too much for a tight loss to Ohio State, but let’s be honest, the Hawkeyes are so injured, that a further fall is only 1 week away.
