It’s not quite time for the weekly gut reaction prediction, but there are a few subjects I’d like to touch on today.
Eye Gouge Gate
Everyone is up in arms about the eye gouging incident at Clemson last weekend. Me? Not so much. Why? Because I’ve long heard about the disgusting and nasty things that go on in the piles on a football field. Eye gouging is the least of it. Is it wrong? Yes. My suggestion? Wear one of those visors. Seriously, if Chris Rix is the authority we’re going to on it now, well it’s laughable.
Wake Forest
The Demon Deacons are having a black out at BB&T Stadium. I hope that goes as well for them as it did for the Noles. It addition to that, a new Scalpoll is up. Will the Noles become bowl eligible? They have to win 2 of their last 3 to do it.
The Florida Gators Pro Combat Uniform
If the leaked picture I saw holds up, it’s horribly unfair that their uniforms look so nice. To top it off, if the white helmet has a sweet looking F logo, I’ll be overly ticked off. It’s not fair, they’re already winning everything, why do they get to have normal but modern looking uni’s? Being a Nole is so frustrating right now…
Gut Reaction Prediction is tomorrow… who’s it gonna be, Noles or Deacons?

Bill: Why would Chris Rix lie? He said it during a 2006 interview and was an answer to an open-ended question about which teams trash talked the most and played dirty. Not a question lobbed yesterday in which he could’ve jumped on the bandwagon.
And have you ever talked to Rix? He might’ve done a few dumb things at FSU, but lying wasn’t one of them.

I didn’t say Rix was lying. I’m just saying that he’s not exactly the poster child of FSU players that I’d want to refer to for examples. That’s all.
My ultimate point is that this stuff goes on and on and on.
