It’s summer, and things are dead until football ramps up in August. Thankfully we’re almost there!

Here are some FSU Football updates:

• Bert Reed is likely entering a diversion program that will allow his charges to be dropped.
• In case you don’t ever check Seminoles.com, they have some photos and video from the latest summer workouts.
• Andrew Carter debunks the theory that FSU could trade scholarships for victories with the NCAA. In other news Alabama is asking the NCAA to restore 21 victories.
• Tomahawk Nation is previewing USF, the biggest trap game on FSU’s schedule.
• ChantRant finds some Noles of yesterday playing in the CFL.
• And in Gator news, those UF folks are finally not #1 at something, FSU ranks 9th. Crap.

And in site news, I think I’ve settled on some rather big changes to ScalpEm.com design wise and content wise. Hopefully, I’ll be able to bring the readers better, more focused content with my plans. Here’s my planned schedule, and if there’s something you would like to see, let me know in the comments.

• Monday – Full FSU weekend review, hopefully more highlights than low-lights this season.
• Tuesday – The ACC Review where I’ll look at what the league did as a whole over the weekend, and the Weekly Scalpoll.
• Wednesday – The Fan Rant where I’ll do my best to keep it clean, while I pick on something that bugged me about last week’s game, half time show, fans or whatever.
• Thursday – YouTube Morons Of The Week featuring our rivals, their fans and general jackassery.
• Friday – FSU Weekend Preview / Prediction.
• Weekend – Photo Galleries (when I can take photos) & Post Game Quick Thoughts

Obviously some weeks will have to be adjust when FSU isn’t playing on a Saturday, but I think this will be a good schedule for the next few months, and I think it will work well with the new ScalpEm.com homepage when it launches in the near future.
