I’m getting married next week, so my friend Chili, from Block-C.com has graciously accepted the helm for ScalpEm.com while I’m off getting hitched.  I told him there’s no pressure to post, unless something major comes up since after all he’s a Clemson Tiger and doesn’t know squat about softball (not that Clemson even bothers to play softball), hates our football team, confuses our fans with Miami fans and generally only whines about King’s Bar-B-Q being closed in Tallahassee. I kid, I kid. He’s talented and creative. If you have any doubts about that read an Extreme Korn Report at Block-C and have a laugh (and then be scared, since Willy Korn might not win the starting job for the Tigers, the EKR meltdown will be EPIC). I appreciate the fact that he’ll be keeping an eye out for everyone on the site.

I figure I’ll leave an open thread for you guys while I’m out, which will start sometime during the middle of next week.

In more Site News I would like to thank everyone that stops by, and specifically, thank those of you that comment. I realize other sites have more active commenting areas and / or message boards, but those of you that do post here generally have well thought out comments, and something to say other than “Yeah xyz sucks and so do the coaches.” I appreciate that, and I’m sure the other readers here do to! April 2008 – April 2009 has been the most successful year yet for the site, and thanks to Ed, sbdude, Nancy and company for making the softball discussion lively this season!

I never thought I’d see the day when ScalpEm.com hit 3.5 millon pageviews in a one year time frame.
