FSU Softball moved to 7-1 on the season late last night, after inclement weather pushed back the start of the Sunshine Classic games to 4pm. Sarah Hamilton picked up another victory, after pitching 4 of the 5 inning game. The offense was moving full force yet again, with Carly Wynn and  Ashley Stager leading the [...]

by Bill From Tampa It’s a pretty good guess that at the basketball banquet in April those in attendance will not be seeing clips of Saturday’s game with Wake Forest in the DVD of the season’s highlights. Leonard Hamilton has been known to watch a game recording shortly after the game is over four and [...]

The FSU Softball Team won the home opener for Head Coach Lonnie Alameda today, 6-0 behind some timely hitting, a couple of umpire calls that went their way and Terese Gober’s sprinkling of 5 Mountaineer hits over her 6 innings pitched. In other news, Carly Wynn led the RBI parade with 2, Borden with 1 and Kristie McConn with 1. Local Tallahassee talent Sarah Hamilton picked up her [...]

Kaleigh Rafter was named ACC Player Of The Week, after dominating the Texas Invitational, with a .556 batting after (10-for-18, 2 doubles and a home run) and not allowing a stolen base in all 5 of the games. Congrats to Kaleigh, and congrats again to FSU softball for a great opening weekend.
