Following a nice beat down at the hands of UF yesterday:

• The ACC has 10 bowl-eligible teams for the first time. Parity in the conference makes it look weaker than it is in reality.  Remember it’s PARITY not MEDIOCRITY, Just ask the SEC after Georgia Tech and Clemson beat them yesterday.
• The Gators are damn good, I believe they’ll beat Alabama and play for the BCS Championship.
• I don’t know which is worse, getting wet because it’s raining, or getting wet because the rain coat / poncho is so hot I’m sweating.
• Doak Campbell Stadium needs some better drainage on the concourses. The pea soup colored muck on the floor was disgusting.
• Christian Ponder, hurt or not, needs a lot of work.
• I was happy to see Drew Weatherford get into the game on Senior Day, and then lead the Noles down the field to a touchdown. The kid deserved better over his tenure at FSU.
• I’ll start praying now that Urban Meyer leaves for his dream job at Notre Dame if Charlie Weis gets 86′d. I’m not sure that Bowden and company are ever going to figure him out.
• I wonder how much ticket prices / booster donations will go up again after another mediocre season in Tallahassee?
• Part 2, I wonder how many less seats will be sold next year thanks to prices and the economy.
• I hate to admit it, but Gator cheerleaders are hot too, especially with the “It’s raining out so we wear baseball caps” thing. Nice.
• But don’t get me wrong, the FSU cheerleaders smoke them.
• Yeah, I’m talking about cheerleaders a lot, the game was that bad to watch.
• There was way too much Orange & Blue in the stands, thanks to lackluster ticket sales. That’s a huge shame.
• The Orange Bowl committee must want to vomit right now.
