This isn’t Bowden’s fault. Why would an ultra-secretive coaching staff allow this to be taped?
To force his hand? All I know is that this will be used against FSU heavily.

Lots of new signups and e-mails from higher ups who didn’t realize it was this bad.

There are many, many other reasons for Bowden to move on than this video. Frankly it’s a poor reason to email higher-ups, especially if it’s true that he woke up about 15 minutes before the speech… ever tried to give a speech 15 minutes after you wake up? :)

Why is the guy we pay 2Mil+ per year sleeping 15 min before the pre-game speech? Ugh. Holding tongue. I think we’re largely on the same page here.
He’s sleeping because he’s near 80 and it was an 8 o’clock ABC 4-hour fest + he has to shoot the post game stuff with Gene. I’d need a nap too.
My point is that the pregame speech, while bad, isn’t indicative of every speech he gives. Go back a few games when Erin Andrews reported that Bowden’s halftime speech was beyond out-of-control when he was ticked off at being down at halftime. He still has some fire, even for the speeches, but that YouTube video is going to be used against him, when it has nothing to do with any reason that Bobby should move on.
