Let’s not fool ourselves here. This is all about appearing cool to 16 and 17 year old urban kids.
The same goes for the “too much hip-hop at the games.” FSU doesn’t care that you’d rather hear Boston or James Taylor. What do the recruits want to hear? They already have your money if you are at the game.

Actually, you got to hear Boston last week at halftime thanks to the Chiefs… not that I really wanted to hear the Chiefs play Boston… but I digress.
