  1. Mystery Teams:

    DATE OPPONENT W-L (CONF) RESULT
    8/30 Appalachian State 1-0 (0-0) W 41-13
    9/13 North Texas 2-0 (0-0) W 41-3
    9/20 @ No. 10 Auburn 3-0 (1-0) W 26-21
    9/27 Mississippi State 4-0 (2-0) W 34-24
    10/11 @ No. 11 Florida 4-1 (2-1) L 51-21
    10/18 @ South Carolina 5-1 (3-1) W 24-17
    10/25 No. 7 Georgia 5-2 (3-2) L 52-38
    11/01 Tulane 6-2 (3-2) W 35-10

    2 blowout losses…

    or…

    8/28 North Carolina State 1-0 (0-0) W 34-0
9/04 @ Vanderbilt 1-1 (0-1) L 24-17 (Thursday Night Road Loss, by a TD, off of a punt that hit their player in the back)
    9/13 No. 2 Georgia 1-2 (0-2) L 14-7
    9/20 Wofford 2-2 (0-2) W 23-13
    9/27 UAB 3-2 (0-2) W 26-13
    10/04 @ Mississippi 4-2 (1-2) W 31-24
    10/11 @ Kentucky 5-2 (2-2) W 24-17
    10/18 No. 13 LSU 5-3 (2-3) L 24-17
    11/01 Tennessee 6-3 (3-3) W 27-6

3 losses by a TD, and many better wins.

I guess I don’t see a huge difference between LSU and SCarolina.

Also, Wake is probably more deserving than FSU at this point. Not only did they beat FSU in Tally, but they’ve played the 6th most difficult schedule while FSU has played the 93rd.

Basically, I’m saying that I don’t have a problem with putting 2 loss teams behind 3 loss teams.

Continued objection to rewarding these super light schedules. Attrition DOES matter. I can’t justify highly ranking these teams who play ONE mid-level BCS conference opponent.

Tulsa should be GONE. Losing to ARKANSAS? If this was their justification game, they failed the test.

BYU has zero quality wins, still.

Georgia lost to your 3rd and 5th ranked teams. This huge drop seems excessive.

I don’t want this to sound harsh. I don’t think your poll is egregious.

In a total reversal from what I felt earlier this season…

UF is playing better ball in all three phases of the game than ANYBODY in the country…

To put a TT team that can score points but can’t stop anybody at the top is silly and a waste of a vote…

This week there is no better team than the Gators…

    TN,

    Duly noted… I’ll look it over again…

    GH,

UF is my top 1 loss team… they are well positioned.
