Pre game day thought… USF reminds me of the old school up and coming Miami teams…. only with some fans in the stands.
Ain’t nothing better than a little Lindy’s chicken at tailgate. The crowd is thin in the parking lots so far.
So far so good… it’s hot in section 13 but there’s a good breeze inside of Doak. There’s Maryland / Cal up on the new video boards and the corner ribbon boards were showing scores for other games. Chat has some very earwaxy gold jerseys on… the Noles are in traditional garnet and gold.
Im in Iraq…..I wish I was there at the game…thanks for the BLOG and keeping us up on it. Have fun!
TD bomb… Ponder to Surrency! Crowd is thin in the south end zone. Stealth Bomber B-2 pregame flyover was amazing! Anon… I’m honored to keep you up to date!
Also… pregame was awesome… Chiefs are on the field lined up to greet the noles with the stadium doing the warchant… then into the fight song as the Noles enter.
Noles up 14-0 on a nice 10+ yard TD run by Smith. Offense is clicking early with 112 yards to Chat’s 13. I expect D’Vo in the first half if the keeps up.
TD by Chat.. 14-7… long bomb. Chat got flagged for celebration… booooooo refs.
Ponder to #1 for a 35+ yard TD… 21-7… nice pump fake by Ponder.

I was deployed to Bosnia during the wonder years and missed those games too…..internet has come a long way since then.

PS the D has looked solid again… a couple of sacks.

The offense looks very good again against what I’d call a slightly better team in Chattanooga.
The Mocs look tired though from the hot Tallahassee sun… so I expect to see more scoring by the Noles in the 2nd half.
Expect to see some D’Vo and maybe some Drew.
And fittingly today’s halftime show is Military Appreciation Day. Thank you soldiers.

Is it just me or has the official count for the Kicker come to 2 missed EP and 1 missed FG in only the 2nd game of the year…….hopefully not looking at a possible trend…..lol. But then again…..who needs to change history (WIDE L / R)….lol.
True for the kicker… but our starter Gano is hurt… hopefully back in 2 weeks. 2nd half starting!

D’vo into the game… 2nd series a 50+ yard TD run complete with broken tackle… guys had his legs until D’vo ran out of it.
4th Quarter in Tallahassee…. Noles have 18 1st downs… 163 rushing… 199 passing. 39-7.
46-7 Noles… 5 mins to play in the fourth. D’vo with a nice TD pass to Bert Reed.
Final score from Tallahassee… 46-7 Noles win. Very solid performance. More thoughts later. Thanks to those of you that tuned in. Go Noles!
