Thoughts From The Abyss: 2008 Opening Weekend Edition

The ACC looked brutal in a good portion of its games. Maryland only mustered a 14-7 win over Delaware? Clemson was exposed by Alabama. Virginia looked lost against Southern Cal. Only GT and Wake looked okay, and Miami I suppose.

On the bright side of that, maybe FSU has a better chance this season that I originally thought. Time will tell.

D’vontrey Richardson is the QB of the future at FSU, not Ponder or Weatherford. Book it.

The Extreme Korn Report makes me smile.

I still can’t stand Ron Cherry, or his calls, even if they’re right. Please stay far away from Tallahassee.

USC (not the cocks) is my #1 in the blogpoll until further notice. Injuries? Turmoil? So what? USC has a scary defense and a ton of talent on offense. The only way they’ll lose is if they beat themselves.

Block-C = Greatest Clemson Page Ever (formerly known as Dfig)

I have no idea what to do on my ballot with the ACC teams. It makes me want to vomit.

Georgia Tech has earwax colored pants now. Way to go guys.

The Virginia Tech loss isn’t quite as bad as it seems, but I bet Tyrod Taylor is not redshirted after that debacle against ECU.

I still don’t understand the “Florida State Cowgirls” competition at Warchant. Mooo? Yeee haw? Why are there even cowgirls at Florida State? Because Jenn Sterger had a hat on, that a horny Brent Musberger happened to like? Why not get something a tad bit more spirited? Or just call it like it is, the FSU Stripper Team.

No pictures of your fav Cowgirl? Bummer. Why are cowgirls good? To quote Joe Dirt, why is a tree good? Why is the sky good? Because it just is.

Favorite Cowgirl? That’s like picking favorite disaster, or favorite Japanese Ice Cream flavor
