Nominations For The 2008 ScalpEm.com All-Time FSU Football Team

We’ll be going position by position as we near football season… so place your nominations in a comment for DB, LB, DL, OL, RB, FB, WR, QB, K, P, Punt Returner and Kick Returner. The winners from the 2005 list are automatically included.

I’ll use the poll system to vote position-by-position, and then we’ll name the full team just before the season starts.

    DL – Ron Simmons, Corey Simon, Peter Boulware
    OL – Clay Shiver, Jason Whitaker, Jamie Dukes
    RB – Warrick Dunn
    FB – Dan Kendra (Ha ha!)
    WR – Fred Biletnikoff, Ron Sellers, Peter Warrick

    I can’t disagree from any of those except FB and RB.

    DB – Deion, TBuck (& Antonio Cromartie & Leroy Butler)
    LB – Derrick Brooks, Marvin Jones, Sam Cowart
    DL – Ron Simmons, Corey Simon, Peter Boulware (and I’d add Andre Wadsworth)
    OL – Clay Shiver, Jason Whitaker, Jamie Dukes (plus Brent Williams and Alex Barron)
    RB – Larry Key (just b/c he is a personal favorite)
    FB – William Floyd
    WR – Fred Biletnikoff, Ron Sellers, Peter Warrick
    QB – Charlie Ward
    TE – Zeke Mowatt
    K – Sebastian Janikowski
    P – Rohn Stark
    PR/KR – Peter Warrick, Willie Reid
