Posey Hits Grand Slam, Plays All Nine Positions

In case you were hiding under a rock…

Buster Posey helped FSU complete a 4 game blowout of Savannah State yesterday, 10-0. He played all 9 positions in the game, and hit a Grand Slam.  Is Buster Posey the best player in the country? Yes. If the ACC Season ended today, he’d win the ACC Triple Crown. That sums it up for me.

Andrew Carter caught up with younger brother Jack Posey, to ask him about Buster.

The Tallahassee Democrat has their summary up, about Buster playing all nine positions.

And,  Seminoles.com has their recap about Busterpalooza!

While I think it is pretty cool thing, I do agree with the PTI guys that it was pretty classless against a very badly matched team like Savanah State. It would have been much more impressive against an ACC team. Posey is probably one of the best if not the best player in the country right now and I wouldn’t be completely surprised in the Junior wasn’t back here next year, but competing for a job in the Big Leagues.

It’s cool, but I agree it was unnecessary. The backlash should be pretty fun to watch. I hope it doesn’t cost Posey any awards.
