Brittany Osmon smacked a grand slam in the first game of the ACC Tournament to put the Noles over Boston College 5-1. The walk off homer to center field sends the Noles to Game #7, to play the winner of Virginia Tech / Maryland. Tiffany McDonald struck out 13 in her 9 innings pitched to gain sole possession of the school strike out record.

Nice start to this tourney. My guess is we meet VT on Friday as they should get by the Terps.

Good call BFT… they take on the Hokies at 12:30 p.m. today. That will be a tough matchup for the Noles, depending on who is throwing for VT.
