Brittany Osmon, for lack of a better term, is a stud.

The FSU Senior belted a two-run homer, her sixth of the season, to secure the Seminoles’ victory over the #1 ranked Arizona State Sun Devils at the Judi Garman Classic. The Noles battled for a 3-2 victory, remaining on a tear and improving to 24-9 on the season. Oh by the way, she’s also batting .413 on the season, leading the Seminoles. Tiffany McDonald picked up her eighth straight victory, improving to 9-1 for her senior season. Robin Ahrberg tossed in an RBI double for the Noles too.

What was the key for the Noles? Composure, something the team has lacked over the past couple of seasons. ASU went ahead 2-1 on a homer by Kristen Miller. The Noles forced ASU to leave 5 on base, while only leaving 2 on base themselves.  They simply didn’t give up the big inning to a highly ranked team.

For a full box score and further info, check out the Official Recap at Seminoles.com.

The Noles take on #20 Long Beach State today also (as I’m writing this it’s 0-0).
