Now we all know that that hack Bianchi would never ever write something like that about his beloved gatros (their …) aka crocs of XXVI. But of course we also all know that the very same thing is going on in Gainesville as well as other schools around the country. These online courses are an open invitation for cheating.
I dunno, Bill…
Bianchi notes in several places that this is a problem at major institutions at the forefront of big money…
And also compliments and verifies that Johnson indicates that it is a overall systemic problem not just at FSU but across the board in the NCAA…
I think that Johnson realized in retrospect and after reading himself in the paper realized he might have come a little too harsh (at least publicly) against his alma mater especially with indicating that administrators were “lying” if they said they didn’t realize it was happening on any level……
and FYI Bianchi has regularly dogged the Gators and Meyer when appropriate after arrests and alleged recruiting incidents often jabbing long afterwards in his “Running off at the typewriter” series…
Thirdly…
While those tests were taken on computers; they were given in a controlled on-campus lab environment that all students involved in the class are required to take the test at…
Which test answers aren’t even the bottom of the barrel in this incident…
Again, this will end up being viewed as an “institutional control” incident involving the athletic department as a whole but dialed in on the academic support division…
The NCAA might only back the self-imposed sanctions, but who really knows what those clowns will do…
Keep your fingers crossed and hope for the best…
It’s what I do all the time with the Gators…
I imagine that’s all any of us can do, though…
Good points as usual GHip… I happen to think Bianchi is entertaining and that the truth is likely somewhere in the middle on this one about what was said and what was meant. As for the scandal itself, I’m just keeping my fingers crossed.
