Thoughts From The Abyss: FSU Edition Volume 13

Posted by

The Seminoles have three weeks off before they start practicing for the Music City Bowl.  That sounds crazy at first, until you realize that in years past, they’ve practice for a week, took one off to take exams, then practiced again.  Maybe some sanity is creeping its way into the practice schedule?

The Men’s Basketball team is winning, even if it’s ugly, that’s good, right?

I love SEC message board posters that don’t understand I’m making fun of them when I’m ACC Homer Guy on a message board.

In site news, there are going to be some exciting spinoffs from the sports blogosphere in 2008, or not, that’s just how we bloggers roll.

If you haven’t checked it out yet, go read and make fun of my horrendous season of picking college football games against the spread.

I’m probably the only one, but I’m excited for FSU Softball season, which is only a couple of months away.

I hope everything pans out for Damon McDaniel, even if his FSU career didn’t.

The blogs that are continuing to take the piss out of Drew Weatherford make me laugh now, especially when they refer to him as slow and weak armed. It’s FSU tradition, the backup QB (now Ponder) MUST be the answer, right?

I really, really hate the “We Like To Party” theme music for the FSU Women’s Basketball Team. Seriously, it’s like bad porn music.

The FSU Soccer Team is kicking ass and taking names, by the way.  They’ve made it to another College Cup!

Take a deep breath, another season of Mike Martin FSU Baseball is just around the corner.

Maybe she’ll get some run support this year?
