We Need Your Donations For West Virginia

Hey college football fans… it’s the holiday season, and it’s time to have a giving spirit. With that in mind, and the likelihood that West Virginia will beat Pitt this weekend, I’m asking you for your COUCH DONATIONS, since after that WVU victory there will be a severe shortage of them. In fact, if you have an old crappy couch, send it up there immediately so they can use it in their festivities.
Where can you learn more? I’m guessing We Must Ignite This Couch might be a good place to start. And please remember, they’re West Virginia fans AND pyros, what else do they really have in this life?

It’s a joke! I’m sure West Virginia has plenty of beautiful places to visit. And, I never said anything about the State of West Virginia, my jokes were directed at WVU fans. Besides, maybe you should go talk to the guys that run “We Must Ignite This Couch.” ;-)
NoleCC, I understand that you’re probably not trying to be hurtful, but realize that even “jokes” such as this only proliferate very negative stereotypes. You’re also correct, the folks at “We Must Ignite This Couch” are particularly culpable, as their idiocy is the type of conduct that also “fuels” such generalizations.
I hope ‘Nole fans will cheer on the Mountaineers should they be fortunate enough to make it to the BCS (it’s not like we’re the ‘Canes or Gators). Give the underdog some credit, and best wishes to your program as well.
Damn “Dad”, you need to calm down and take it with a grain of salt. College fans everywhere mock other fans all the time. Nothing is serious is meant by any of it unless of course it between Ohio State and Michigan fans. We REALLY do hate each other.
I will be supporting both Mizzoe and WV this weekend, as I can’t stanf for Ohio State to get a present invite to play for and get blown out in the National Title game.
Don’t forget about the USC / UCLA hatred… those Trojans drag UCLA-clad teddy bears around behind them for the week leading up to the game.
The ‘Stache has emerged victorious. We might want to change the donations from couches to Sudafed.
I was under the impression they light ‘em up either way at WVU. J/K, J/K. I’m sure they need some Excedrin today though.
