1. And the good news from last night would be? At least FSU scored points this time. No resignation letters should be forthcoming.

2. FSU vs Wake Forest Fun Fact: In the last ten quarters of play versus the Deacons, Florida State has been shut out in seven of those quarters. WHEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!! Was that fun or what?!?!

3. Subconscious Sneaks Out Award goes to Gene Deckerhoff for his occasional calling of BB&T Field as “B&B Field”. Now correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t B&B some kind of brandy? I’m sure everyone was in need of a good stiff drink after that game last night.

4. The Something We Can All Agree On Award goes to Deckerhoff: Shortly following the final play Gene remarked “Let’s not play anymore on Thursday nights.” Three cheers for that! Let’s break out the B&B and drink to that!!!

5. Show of hands please. After that group of clowns/comedians/jokers otherwise known as ACC refs took roughly 47 minutes to decide what the correct call was on the first punt of the game, how many of you were thinking to yourself at that moment “Can we call in Ron Cherry’s crew for the rest of the game please!!!”

6. Obviously the offensive game plan for the second half was to pick up where we left off in the first half of the Clemson game. Most would probably agree that plan was well executed. At least the offense was well rested in the second half.

7. Given the many second down and ten yard plays FSU found itself last night, wouldn’t it have just been easier to play Canadian rules football and just use three downs? Would have made the game move along earlier so Seminole fans could get to that B&B faster.

8. Following Drew Weatherford’s one and only series, PT Willis commented “You’ve got to get Xavier back in to the game.” Why? Drew executed the three and out series just as well.

9. After a camera shot of the one FSU fan clothed in a heavy sweatshirt and wool scarf firmly wrapped around her neck above her chin, the words “it’s 52 degrees out there, not 25!!” came to mind. With the number of blankets and other winter wear seen at the game you’d think a blizzard was about to descend on the stadium. Try some of the B&B instead. That’ll warm you up. For FSU fans a reeeeeeeeeeeeeally good dose right about now will help do more than that.

10. The Sum It Up After The Game For FSU Fans Award goes to that Wake Forest fan that did a thumbs down following a Florida State touchdown. Little did she know she had it right.

11. And speaking of things seen at the game, when did anyone ever think that you would see signs at Wake Forest reading “I need tickets” for a football game?

12. As the season has gone on it’s clear that FSU has improved in one area, getting the offsides penalty. Or maybe there is a contagious virus going around on the team. Last week it was the offensive line and holding calls. This week it must have migrated to the defensive line in the form of offsides. Surely the medical staff has some sort of antibiotics before the penalty virus makes it way to the linebackers and secondary.

13. Also improved in last night’s game? Third down conversions. UNFORTUNATELY for the other team that is.

14. Question. Isn’t the idea of squib kicking the kickoff to prevent the other team from running it back or getting good field position? Allowing Wake to get the ball to the 41 yard line would kind of seem to defeat that idea. Just a thought.

15. Good job there Charlie as in Crist who couldn’t or wouldn’t make a clear decision on which team he was rooting for. Just like a politician right. And some wonder why politicians rank down there with used car salesman?
