FSU Baseball To Host Regional

2

Posted by NoleCC

FSU will welcome Mississippi State, Bethune-Cookman and Stetson to the Tallahassee Regional for the opening rounds of the NCAA Tournament. FSU earned a national seed, which means they’ll host a Super Regional, provided they get through the Regional this weekend.  That’s not a gimme, considering FSU’s pitching rotation is in shambles.

Let’s hope Mike Martin realizes, that Danny Rosen closing ballgames does FSU no good, if they’re losing and can’t get to him. Start Rosen, and do the bullpen-by-committee thing.  It’s worth a shot to see if anybody else can come up big.

from the omaha herald…. the “source for the best CWS coverage”
their predictions….. (wait for it at the bottom)

    • Arizona State

    • Arkansas

    • Florida State

    • Long Beach State

    • Virginia

    • Texas

    • Rice

    • North Carolina

Traditionally, the flag is lowered when a team is eliminated, and only the national champion’s banner will be flying from the top of the pole when the tournament ends either June 24 or 25. We’re picking Florida State over Texas in the championship series.
