I’ve been slacking on the photos but I’m back on track with the ScalpEm.com Photo Gallery.
Western Michigan
Boston College
Wake Forest
Over the coming week, I’ll be better indexing the pictures, with descriptions and summaries so that you guys can search them better here (and hopefully on Google).

Scott Carter’s blog has an interesting back story for Saturday’s game between the Seminoles and Gators.  Evidently, Myron Rolle and Percy Harvin don’t get along, dating back to a high school all-star game.  I’ll try to remember to keep the camera pointed in that direction. Hopefully the rest of the Noles will be just as [...]

In yet another “What Are The FSU Coaches Thinking?” moment, Drew Weatherford has been announced as the starter for the UF game on Saturday.  Weatherford was yanked from the Western Michigan game in the 2nd quarter and replaced by Xavier Lee, who then led the Seminoles to their lackluster 28-20 victory over the Broncos.

The game was never in doubt with Florida State leading at one point in the first half by 31 points. Right from the start of the game the Seminoles took control easily beating the New Orleans Privateers 69-50.
Had it not been for a sloppily played second half by the ‘Noles, the margin [...]

1. Correct me if I’m wrong, but aren’t homecoming games supposed to be a calk walk for the home team?
2. With its sixth win to become bowl eligible FSU can now say (in its best Homer Simpson impersonation) “WOO-HOO, we’re going to Boise”. Memo to the team: dress warm.
3. With 197 total return yards for [...]

The Florida State Seminoles survived the Western Michigan Broncos 28-20 at Doak Campbell Stadium yesterday. FSU ran a meager 51 plays for a mere 251 yards in the victory. Drew Weatherford started the game for the Seminoles, but lasted only a quarter before being pulled for Xavier Lee. The FSU defense spent most of [...]

Live from tailgate… Keys to the game. FSU needs to establish a
running game early. The D needs to keep the potentially explosive WMU
offense off of Bobby Bowden Field at Doak Campbell Stadium.
Prediction: Noles 27 Broncos 16

The Florida State Seminoles return to action Sunday evening at 5:00 PM taking on the New Orleans Privateers in Tallahassee.
News Orleans last season had to deal as many Louisiana sports team did with Hurricane Katrina. Forced to play on the road for the entire season, the Privateers finished 2005-2006 with a 10-19 record. [...]

There are die-hard fans, then there are DIE-HARD fans. Drew and Lisa Medcalf of Tallahassee, FL fall into the latter category. They’ve painted their house down-the-middle, one half Gator Orange and Blue and the better half Seminole Garnet & Gold as part of winning a contest sponsored by The Home Depot and [...]

The suggestion was thrown out there to me that I should figure out what Jeff Bowden’s cost per play, point, etc. is over the next 5 years as part of his severance package from Seminole Boosters. If we use 2001-2005 as our data (completed seasons under Jeff Bowden’s Tenure) we get the following [...]
