‘Noles Try To Rebound

Don’t forget that the FSU Baseball Team is back in action this weekend at Dick Howser Stadium. The ‘Noles will try to catch some of the early season success they had, as they take on Savannah State. Game times are 7PM, 7PM & 1PM.

Catch the Seminole Softball Senior class on Senior Day, Tuesday against Troy. The Seniors will be honored between games of the doubleheader, which starts at 4PM. A big congratulations and a big thank you to Carly Brieske (above), BillieAnne Gay, Carey Galuppi, Kim Hoffer and Natasha Jacob.

Quick Update

Game 2 was a BEATDOWN… 16-1.

And I think Yonder Alfonso was about to head home to Miami early after the verbal beating he took from the 1st base stands.

FSU played well in their tune-up for this weekend’s matchup against the rival Miami Hurricanes. The ‘Noles beat Jacksonville 10-1 on a strong 6 inning performance by Michael Hyde.

Game times for this weekend are 7pm, 7pm and 1pm on Sunday.

Also… the FSU softball pulled out a 9-3 win over crosstown rival FAMU last night. They play N.C. this weekend on Saturday (12pm & 2pm) and Sunday (1pm).

Tony Thomas, Jr. had 5 RBI in a 7-5 ‘Noles win over the Boston College Eagles. FSU swept the first ever ACC series between the two, as the #3 ‘Noles improved to 31-4 on the season.

FSU remains on the road this Wednesday at Jacksonville University, before coming home to Dick Howser for this weekend’s series against the Miami Hurricanes.

Quick Update:

FSU swept the doubleheader on Wednesday… 4-0, 6-5 (in 8 innings) to sweep the #24 Florida Gators!

Granted, I personally cannot be in attendance tonight when the ‘Noles take on the Gators in doubleheader action starting at 4pm, but that doesn’t mean YOU shouldn’t get out there and support them!
