Yes, I realize that the game against the Miami Hurricanes is Monday night, but I just can’t get my mind off of…TAILGATE!

Folks, the UAB game just can’t get here fast enough! The food, the beverages, the party games, more food, more beverages and more fun, all under a series of tents and umbrellas! Sometimes I feel like gameday is just an excuse to get together with friends and throw a killer party on someone else’s property!

Here are my thoughts on the upcoming tailgating season!

Food:
Expectations in this department always grow, but with the addition of pregame suggestions and the utilization of the website for posting the menu… I there are going to be many happy tailgaters.

Entertainment:
A large question mark, will there be a television this year? If not, how on earth will we keep ourselves entertained?

Cooling:
The patented not-so-hot zone will be back, along with some new additions. 95 degrees be damned, we ‘Noles know how to stay cool at a tailgate.

Beverages:
Do I really need to cover this topic? I think any beverage is good at tailgate, as long as it gets you shizzied! Again, this is always a well-covered area. But of course “know when to say when.” You know… right about when you’re going to break your watch. (inside joke).
